The Law Society Commerce & Industry Group North West Annual Dinner 2010

This event is open to all those who work in or are connected with Legal Departments in North West Commerce & Industry, and therefore, Company Directors, Company Secretaries, In-House Barristers and support staff are all welcome to attend. The evening will commence at 7:00pm with a complimentary champagne reception kindly sponsored by BCL Legal.
The dinner will be black tie and will consist of a high quality four-course meal and half a bottle of wine per person included in the ticket price, together with some fantastic entertainment with a charity auction and raffle, the proceeds of which will this year go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The total cost per head to the Committee will be in excess of £60.00, however, as a result of the generous financial support of the dinner from Eversheds LLP, Hartley Wadsworth & Partners and Palladium Associates Plc, the ticket price to those wishing to attend the event will be subsidised down to only £35.00 for the first 100 members responding and £45.00 per head thereafter.
The Executive is hopeful that this offer will again prove attractive to all our members. A number of legal departments have already indicated a willingness to take a table and in some cases meet the cost (in the same way that private practice firms often pay for a table for their employees to attend the Law Society Dinner).
We have been fortunate enough again to secure Manchester's most fashionable hotel, the award winning Lowry Hotel, which is conveniently situated in Manchester City Centre. The Executive is, therefore, hopeful that the venue will be accessible to most of its members. However, for those wishing to stay over, a special overnight rate for en-suite rooms of £131.00 per room (single occupancy) and £143.00 per room (double occupancy) including full English breakfast has been negotiated.

Numbers are again strictly limited, and as a result of the ticket price being heavily reduced by sponsorship, we anticipate that demand will again comfortably exceed the numbers of tickets available.
